Riverview Medical Associates is proud of our comprehensive xray services. We offer xray services in most areas except CT scan and MRI. We are able to perform DEXA bone density studies, standard xrays - all of which are reviewed and interpreted by a Board Certified Radiologist in association with the ordering physician.

Standard xray studies may be very important in the regular practice of medicine. We offer services on-site for the Tinton Falls office which are open to our patients at the Holmdel office as well. Our xray facility has been inspected and reviewed by the State of New Jersey. It meets all safety and radiation control criteria. All services must be ordered by a Riverview Medical Associates physician or by a physician working in collaboration with Riverview Medical Associates. The results of all studies are reviewed by the ordering physician and by our board certified consulting radiologist. Prompt performance of radiology services and their prompt review can expedite aspects of patient care and save multiple visits that would otherwise require separate appointments at the radiologist or at the hospital.

It is important to note that we do NOT do mammograms, CT scans, MRI scans or interventional radiology.
